hello guy's i'm working to improve my skills and would ask you how this baseline and kick sounds ?

a start atleast...

i hear sum freqs need attendin to in 170-350 range..A/B your results

close the gap a lil more,

try switchin the phase rotation from on the synth (if applicable)... after n b4 after n b4 EQ as sumtimes it helps to gel the 2..

compression... not needed really i rekon.. unles u want a certain character..mix tool wise no need tho imopinion..

Hey man
Kick is okay but you could compress it bit more(to my taste)
Baseline you could work bit more on, i think maybe lacks some low end.
You could make some small cuts in the base on the low mid freq area around 200-350 to get a more clean sound.
Its okay now but work bit more with compression and equing and u can get a more powerful combo

dont always have to compress.. use transient shapers instead. Sonnox transmod,, spl and the likes can shape nice results. ...
