Eyh guys,

for any of you wondering how to create that crazy Kick sound you like, this can be a good beginning:

http://audio.tutsplus.com/tutorials/production/how-to-effectively-layer-drum-sounds/

I'M currently working on a tutorial on the NN-XT Sampler to give greater details. But this gives the basic idea on what to do and where to start!!

Also, another useful way to use this is to layer a Bass Sound WITH a Kick.

This can be a good way to create a very powerful bass sound that has a lot of punch.

For me, this is still very theoric since I haven't had any significant results up to now...

If anyone has more knowledge on this topic, please share with us !

hm i dont like the sound of the kick^^
also layering kicks never gave me good results.

what you can try is to glue 2 kicks.
take the bass of a kick you like and take the other freqs of a kick you like . watch out for a liquid change-over.

or do it like most ppl and use bazzism vst, eq & compress.
