I heard them in Essex when I was travelling round doing listening tests before I upgraded my monitors. They were way out of my price range.
Great speakers, on a par with, but different sounding to other speakers in their price range. I also heard S3A's at the same shop and because there were no lower price point barefoots I listened to more ADAM speakers and got more used to their sound and preferred it after a while. Had I been listening to various sets of Barefoots all day I would have probably preferred them.. but I guess its what your ears become accustomed to listening to. |

yeap ... a dream speaker.
i worked on them for about 2 monthes in NY, amazing speaker, translate really well, open sound, clear and precise bass, s3a mids, ....
airy tops ...
dream.
for 6500 a piece ... its too much for me, i get along with my twin6s but the barefoot are fucking amazing speaker to work on, its very hard to change speakers afterwards.
