I spent the whole afternoon setting up a new bandcamp profile,
after that i discovered reverbnation, it seems more limited in the features
(means u have to pay if u want more than 10mb per song)

Reverbnation works well for bands because of its rating/genre systems and fan connection methods. Good to use if you're trying to reach out to a specific kind of listener. Found it working well for bands doing rock, heavy metal and fusion. Still not using it personally.
Bandcamp all the way if you're trying to create an independent model for the distribution of your music. It's a great clean way of promoting too with easy and customizable widgets for your website and social networks. To me the audio quality is better than soundcloud as well.
