i used to really like banco de gaia.
especially his first two releases on planet dog, i.e last train to lhasa and maya
however, i thought his stuff became a bit derivative after a while and sort of drifted away from it.
there are some extraordinary tracks on last train though, i always liked kincajou a lot - they released a single of this with a oliver leib remix - cracking!
btw i haven't heard anything he has done since '99 so maybe it has picked up again
let me know if you reckon so.
peace

I think that "Last train to lhasa" album is fantastic.
Which other albums do you recommend for me, then? |

'Magical sounds of banco de gaia' is the album that got me into chill out back in 2002. Still my favorite album by him. |

But that is not necessarily bad. I think that "last train .." is unique anyways. Isn`t it? |
