Hey EP heres some information for u ......... i downloaded a few of ur tracks form ur album Regenerated in mp3........since i liked them i went to psyshop and bought the cd.......what iam tryin to say is that true psy lovers download mp3 not for harming the artist but to make their choices ......... u know how money is hard to earn so i cant spend money on a cd then regret the buy........all what iam tryin to put into ur head is that mp3s are not bad iof used in the right way "to make choices"

always the same excuses for downloading ...
u wanna check something u don't know ?? check the samples on psyshop , saikosounds and chaosunlimited ... way enough to check if something is worth buying or not

"always the same excuses for downloading ..."

The guy hasn't done any harm, quite the contrary, it would have been the same if he had borrowed the CD from a friend and then bought it.

u shldnt compose music which suits ur ears as u mentioned in the line "Have you ever though about that I want my music to be the exact way it is?"...........cos accordin to me an artist or a dj for that matter performs for the crowd cos the crowd expects them to take their souls on a trip which is possible only if an artist or a dj plays or compose what the crowd expects from them....

This couldn't be more wrong.

If someone is creating art purely to sell it to a specific audience I think that then it is no longer art... It's product.

Musicians should create music purely for themselves. If other people like it then that's cool, but that shouldn't be what directs it. DJ's will play it if it works on a dancefloor. They'll get bookings for parties if it works on the dancefloor.

The big difference between artists and DJ's is that DJ's HAVE to please the dancefloor. Artists have no such responsibility. Following your logic all we'd get to hear would be commercial trash.

Good music (or that which is to your taste) will always take you on a trip.           "One nation under a groove".

And last I did not ask you about your opinion about my music anywhere... You started it all by yourself mate

Stop to put words in my mouth! This is ridiculous!
Im not here to judge anybody (this is what YOU use to do "MATE")
, I just answer your question and like I said, IS only MY OPINION!
If you want your music be the exact way it is... Stop to mutter about the bad sales! and Accept your limits.
Yes we dont have RULES in psytrance but, we have the good ones, and the bad ones...
I think when I listen to a track and it makes me feel something special...I find the good ones... So...
But dont take it personal.
I hope you sell as much you can! If its what you really want...
Good Luck!

Well then I have to remind you what you wrote earlier:

"If its was for me...
I heard some tracks of Ely$ium Project in his website...
And his music (in my opinion) lacks of vibe. I mean... energy, something that touch us in the heart, something essential in trance music. But not bad at all. Some good tunes maybe...
You didnt get my point Anak... poor of you.
To be honest, even if i liked his music, I wouldnt buy it maybe... But People who can spend this money like you, of course would buy it! Thats my point."

So again. YES it was indeed you that started with your opinion about my music mate.

About judging... well I haven't seen you doing anything else than judging in this thread... But keep on downloading without buying music... just dont bother me anymore... I have zero respect for you..... dont waste my time!

END OF STORY!

Finally you discovered that the story is ended...
Congratulations!

Ps: Maybe, I dont like your music and ideas. But I am honest in every word I have writing here and I have total respect for you! But for sure you dont need to do the same.

Be happy!

Code_psy...

Glad you make your music for the dancefloor... There's nothing to say you shouldn't.
It's cool that you do. Sorry for coming on a bit strong.

I was taking issue with the fact that you said EP 'shoudn't make music for (his) ears', and said music should be made solely for the dancefloor and not for the artist.

I guess there's room for both opinions. As long as some passion and love has been put into the music.

Elysium Project

This is my first try posting here. First of all I would like to apologize after reading Kenji's comments towards you. I am very ashamed of being from the same country.
The problem with the trance scene in Japan right now is full of newcomers and acting so proudly that they all the sudden know it all.
I think of them as :
instant "ramen(noodles)"hippie wannabe.
The Japanese should know better from their own cultures. Respect for the earlier people who contributed so much and lived and built the scene from the learlier stage.
I hate to see people saying "peace" and "respect at the end when they are totally
acting the oppossite and so ignorant.
For the Mp3 people should find a protective way of distribution and a good billing system.
Best regards from Japan.
