Hot monitors! What size are your room, Get-A-Fix ? doesnt these require quite a bit of space ?

i hope your gf still dont know their price  .. i got split out of my mouth just watching them
and your room dimensions seem very good for these monitors, if its also good acoustically treated, plus you ll have a great stereo image too, happy mixing

I told her they cost me half what they really did & she still freaked! Now i need to buy her a ring to shut her up 
So far i've got around 20+ bass traps & working on building some more when i get time.

Yeah you should focus on acoustic treament before an upgrade! You're welcome to drive down to pakistan for a visit
As for the price difference, if you think about it i'm actually saving money with the Barefoots.
The cost of K+H 0300 plus two 0800 subs is over $8000. The Barefoot have built in stereo subs, so there's no hassle of placement issues. So i'm actually saving $1000 by upgrading to Barefoots (or so i'd like to tell myself!)
The K+H 0300 are great monitors but i get annoyed by the built in limiters which sometimes kick-in way too early with bass transients.
So they're annoying to work on with electronic music when on some tracks the limiters will kick in at barely 85db. To get the best out of the 0300 you need to add a matching pair or at least one sub.
