very weird rules in this forum
1-you can lie about trax you say you have
2- you can lie about parties youve been to
3- you can lie about the music you say you are making
but god forbid dont say there is music you dont like!!! or albums you wish you didnt buy
do you really think gms gives a s*'t if you liked their last cd?
they probably dont but if they did good! you pay good money for music why shouldnt you be able to say on a public forum whether you thought it was crap or not-
biggest disappointment for me this year is Gandalf!

Aside from me liking some of the albums mentioned, Maybe you should dig deeper into your collection or into audiogalaxy or even some 'website comps' and have a listen to some real garbage. You may not like those albums , but to actually call them the worst. Come on! Did you really think hard before you trashed? Im gonna look into the toilet bowl archives and get back to you, cause i can produce some real shit if you want it.

I'm currently trying to increase my appreciation of trance,
which includes thinking critically about the music.
It's important for me to know what people like and don't like and WHY.
However, knowing someone doesn't like a track or album but not knowing WHY is useless to me.
I assume that every track made is liked by some but not by others - that's just personal taste. |

I agree that criticism is a good thing. But there is a way to say things and explain yourself. Remember that hundreds of people are going to read your bullshit so make it GOOD. Pull out a dictionary and EXPLAIN why you didn't like it. Give examples of stuff you did like so we can maybe understand a little better.
Lets make this new forum an even better place to come to. |
