after knowing that there is a strong connection between trance music and drugs.
some one i know ( a friend of a friend ) decided to put an end for his life after jumping off a clif 300 mt. high.
my friends were in this party and than he decided to jump off the clif for no reson.
plz be carefull - know what you are taking and watch out from motherfuckers who want to destroy your life with poison !
take it to your attention.

I dont think that Trance music is connected with drugs,maybe some people want to make this connection for their own profits.Personally i have never used drugs and i enjoy this kind of music at its highest degree,offcourse a drugs user may say that while using drugs the music becomes even better,fortunate or not i wont be able to see if these words are true but i still enjoy music getting the biggest emotions out of it.
Sorry for your friend,someone has to blame all the people that surrounded him for not prevending him doing such a thing.
May he rest in peace anyway.

OK .. i think this tread won't be a short one ...
First of all , i won't connect it nessasory 2 trance .He used drugs when he was in the trance party but if u go further , to his first usage of drugs it won't necessary lead u 2 trance music - actually finally it leads to the nature of him , smth inside him that pushed him to try a drug .
Second , u see - there are enough ppl that like trance having no idea what drug is . So this is not a sad side of trance .
The real sad thing is that many ppl don't have a clue of possible effects usage of drugs may use . So maybe this is the place to point everybody who uses or about 2 use a drug to some objective literature about this issue - just hit isratrance->general->drugs ... my friend here recommend another one : http://www.erowid.org And , there is personal experiance - i think that drawing a complete picture of what u went through , for good and for bad , to someone that trys a drug first time is a mandatory to each of us(the drug users) . I mean , i'm not discovering America here , but lately i feel a bigger responsibilty to this , maybe bcs of some conclusions i'm making 2 myself about drugs this period ... And maybe this is what pushed Eran to put this post ...

I would like to emphasize here the danger of drugs usage, and a trance music as a greater catalyzer, which is, according to proved scientific researches as well as personals', could really distress ones nerves system. All this due to highly sensitive emotions activation etc..... ( enough info on the net and while socializing... )
However the source of such emotional stresses, positive or negative as one, could be any other thing so there is no reason to blame trance or relate it to some kind of "devil music".
Music rules us more then some persons pay attention, I can see...
..It's is one of the mains receptors, channels one gets information through. Imagine there is a hole world turning around upside down in different colors in your eyes... wouldn't you get crazy?
The sound craziness is like this but in your ears, pressed to maximum ) man fights himself here as well.

Sorry about your friend man. I have heard of this sort of thing happening, at parties.
I wouldnt link this to trance though, like others said. Trance is about good vibes, peace and friendship(like a hippie).
I would blame the drugs, F"#$ drugs. I hate them, they ruin good things. Be responsible when taking them, it causes problems to those around. |

Drugs are always related to bad happenings. So they have in fact proven to be very dangerous and harmful to everyone. But trance is not related to drugs. In fact its a way to experience new things and feelings! So lets all spread this good vibe to the world,  and try to help people understand that there are other things in life other then drugs!

I don't understand why you guys are so negative. This guy obviously decided that he got all he wanted out of life, he had seen enough, so he decided to jump. Your life belongs to YOU and no one else. Not God, not your parents, not your friends, YOU only. Some people suffer their whole life, and for what? I admire this guys courage, he decided to leave this world on the highest note possible: physically, spiritually, and emotionally. If he is in a better place or not right now, who knows? |
