hi,
until now i thought my room acoustics are ok. now im not sure. im sitting in a triangle with my speakers and got a few absorbers.
then ive just heard that song. the base is so strange sounding. its like coming from every direction around by ear. never heard it before and i think its not a room problem, is it? i hope im not the only one thinking that its kind of special.
how did he manage to give the base such a crazy stereo image?

phase reversed - - - oh, wait, you beat me to it colin.
lol, yeah, phase reversed bass DOES, however, sound fucking wierd until you figure out what it is. i only recognize it 'cuz i was experimenting with it. it has a really strange way of filling up the whole room while still sounding clear (like the op said)...
however, yeah, on a mono subwoover... "poof". gone!
