hi fellas 
anyone here tried the cure which posted at reasonstation for this 'bad format' thing ?
i have a friend who has encountered this problem and would like to gather as much info for him as possible.
any comments would be greatly appreciated

ermmmm.......go to explorer -tools- folder options....and unmark the "hide extensions for known type files" setting.....
I had this problem on Reason 1 with Windows XP.
Hope i helped u...

no problem ,,or update reason to 1.0.1 ...they have fixed that bug there.. i found the update on some file sharing programm <i know,,Shame on me...  >
