I dont get this stuff with copying tracks, why do they have to complicate things so much? Theres bunch of reverbs with reversed reverb settings so u just press reverse on your reverb unit and it sounds much cooler than this.. Especially if u prolong predelay..

It's easier in logic Space Designer has a reverse button on it.

It does and its cool, although you'd need to put the audio region before the dry one, and mute (pre-fade sends) the region you are using in order to get the reverse reverb only.

there is cooler way to do something pritty similar that ocelot teach me some years back..
reverse your track (lead or vocal) add reverb and reverse again.. it will make perfect reverse sounds before each note (tuned)

*** (milion dollar trick , thanx aaron!)

Thats what the video shows, although creating a separate channel and including only the wet/return from the reverb, is more flexible in the long run.

true but im sucker for fast working method. not when it effects huge stuff offcourse like being lazy too much but my personal problem is if it takes me more then 3 days to do track i just get bored with it.. so my way in cubase with offline process even couple of times for try and mistake to find right timing is still ten times faster imo.. with hotkeys heaven if u got some nice preset ready it can take 4 seconds its this little things that might be the diffrence for me from finish tracks or make just loops and give up.. and beside i dont know if there is offline process in pro tools ?           www.sattelbattle.com

Doing the way its suggested in the first place is what I am talking about as well, bouncing the effect return, but instead of adding reverb, I am suggesting simply bouncing the return of the reversed reverb.
Then you simply re-reverse the dry audio to its original state, create a separate channel to put the reverse reverb audio file and then you can mix it in proper, change its position by a few clicks, sidechain it to fuck, filter it, put modulation plug ins on it (flanger/phaser) to make it sound even more "otherworldly", send parts of it to a delay effect etc..etc, whilst keeping the original dry audio intact.
It will take as long as you say, its just going to be more flexible with the stuff you can do to it later on.

Hey man, I don't think you do need to do that. Just turn dry to 0 and wet to full!

If the reverb has a dry fader, then yes that is all you need to do.
