Thanx for your advice Lithium.
I'm using two different computers , one for music and nothing but music (no internet no games nothing) and one computer for all the other stuff (the one i'm using right now for the internet).
So i don't need the Two OS solution.
But i'm sure gonna' use your advice for the rergistry , i never delete the registry of A vst pr any other software i uninstalled.

Well, maybe is not even an error coming up from XP... Maybe its just a minor virus or worm... If u r facing an error on start up and so on, try to scan your pc for errors and viruses...
Formating a pc is the last option u must ever think of. Try this option and maybe u can prevent all these trouble...
Try this: http://housecall.trendmicro.com (it is an online scan for windows)
Another good idea is the one u mentioned... Im gonna buy a second pc, or maybe a labtop and use them each one for each purpose...
Hope u find whats wrong and fix it!

adding on here, there are some very good software (something even from norton) which can backup ur registry and stuff like that...in case you run into any problem, u can go back to a version of the registry which worked right.... |

Hey CHP thanks I don't no if it's a virus
because as i said the music computer doesn't have any internet connection and i mostly check all the CD's going inside the music comupter .
I'm gonna' try scaning anyway,though,
Fromating my PC is not such a big deal because i have it in partitions and the system
is dvided form the samples drive and music drive.
I just have to format the system drive and if no sound file mistakely saved into C: then everything should be o.k.
Still it might be A P.I.T.A to install all programs back and i prefer to avoid the format process.
BTW A friend of mine recommended me of this nice program called "system mechanic" it have many functions in it including registry cleaning, defrag ,spyware protection , ETC.
I think i'm gonna try it.

roll down the screen to see the functions.
