I have been following this Thread for a few days now and i feel i should say what i think and feel...
Firstly I'm a huge fan of AZAX, past and present and when i saw this video i thought wtf, this guy is not a 3d Vision artist but a Chemical Crew bloke... My oh my.... Was very disappointed as a FAN, DJ and PROMOTER I even thought i would NEVER book this guy...
Anyway that video is shite is very egocentric but i have to say its down to the producer of the video so i will erase this from my mind and just remember this video where you see him more down to earth ....

Azax syndrom rules !!
anyway, this video was not made by him...
it was made by SGK Japan, and if you serach you tube, you can find many videos by SGK...
it got nothing to do with skazi.
i think his music is just getting better and better !
every track is a dancefloor bomb ...
cmon guys... we are in 2008 ,forget about what he did at 2003... those days are long gone
ppl change, life change, music changes...
you can accept it or keep on bitchin about it
but the fact remains the same ...

for me just a lot more commercial and less psychedelic....
can see the video was not made by him...but....his lover??....cheesy, boring and too arrogant!...
he didnt change his style.....before he was more complex, less rock, more twisted.....just "involved" for big crowds and not psychedelia....as mike pointed out (even if was on the opposite side)!
and the fact remains the same....azax now is poor quality music.....any doubts..?

100000 fans?!? You're joking right? I doubt there are 100000 people who listen to trance worldwide! (I'm referring to people who are truly fans of the genre and buy music, not drugged up neo hippies or festival chasers )

i cant understund how ppl still think like this man...i mean i used to think like that but i was 20 years old then !!
and also Azax isnot making music for the people!
first of all he makes it for himself and THEN for the people that will accually happen to like his music !!
in japan alone he must have 10.000 fans
and the numbers mike gave was only a metaphore!!
make your own music for your own style guys !!
thats the best solution and everybody stop whinning why did he change and why did the other guy changed !!
everybody is dissing skazi for example but what ppl dont understand is that skazi will not have to work for a day in his life..he will spent it parting and making music....(what more could you ask)
the new azax music is 10 times more 'intelligent' than voices of madness... imo

i do not believe:
- that his music now is more intelligent......or if it is, it doesnt translate in psychedelicness.....maybe more accurate production but variety, beat, melody much worst....less psy...more chemical crew style!
- we dont whine for change....we whine for negative change.....towards bigger crowds, more commercial, more money, less art/spirit.
-this is a forum so we can freely discuss on whatever we like...respecting other etc....and we are discussing music not what life an artist made for himself...
azax will not be at boom (even if his fan count reaches 1.000.000!) as his peak of production and as an artist ended in 2004 when he was in boom and killed it....good old times.....

First of all, I think it's very stupid to open topics about someone behavior, and more stupid to discuss how someone acting in the world.
Second, Azax is not a monk, he is an artist and his job is create fun and good mood. He certainly won't go to Japan to sit in the hotel room whole day, and staring in the tv (which i am sure he don't understand).
Third, Skazi didn't invented guitar, fun and long hair.
Fourth, I don't know how old he is, but it's more important to feel as young and not to be young.
And finally, his music now is much better than the last years, and will be more better because time goes in front, not in back.

pfft tall poppy syndrome... good on him for making money and being happy... I bet half the underground producers wish they had as much support an fun as Azax is.. he probably gets many more gigs than most...
and by the way, if I am 50 years old and still behind the decks, I"ll be jumping and down, waving my arms adn grinning from ear to ear to be able to feel young again...
get over yourselves... if you don;t like it ignore... I for one am thrilled with is last album and his compilation for 3D Vision... blew me away --- Love In Light, Dance In Darkness ---

well i guess most ppl likes his old music since most of it is based on slayer riffs and midi's ...thats why i like it too
i like his music and like to see him play in israel . i think we're missing raw perfomers like him ...
the only thing i didnt like is the new logo which is Morbid angels logo with same letter and structure only changed into azax syndrom and david star...
regev i think you should change it..
except that i love your music and i think you perform well , best wishes!
