i want to broaden my style to something more psy and less morning. this calls for a darky linear bassline... i love those psy full ons with darky basslines (like 3D vision). something like Azax Syndrom vs Toxic - Rain or Azax Syndrom vs Seroxat - Big Mistery... it's more or less what i'm looking for. what is the VST synth you recommend me for these ones?
thanks in advance |

both seroxat and azax syndrom use the muon tau a lot. might be that in those tracks. but then again its not so much about the VST - its all in the eq

i tried VB1 (red version) and it's what i like. but i have a big problem... cubase comes with the blue version of VB1 and i hate it. it's in the steinberg\cubase\vstplugins folder. i have the red one in steinberg\vstplugins and i can't use it (cause there's already the blue in the cubase folder). so i renamed the blue to .txt from the cubase folder and now i can use the red one. the problem is that when i play a note (either sequenced or keyboard touch) it repeats itself every 1/16 forever. i have to close the project to make it stop. has anyone managed to make it work on SX? it works in orion (and i'm pretty sure it works on any other sequencer). how can i make it work? |

There are two different VB-1, at least different in GUI.
The newer one is a blue guitar, the older one is a red guitar. But i don't know if there is any difference in sound. I think it is only the gui changed to fit to sx.

which vb1 sounds better? the red or blue?
and how do i get the other one. I think I have the blue one. the one that comes with SX3.
Back to topic : I think Azax might be using the Tau .. Sounds like it.
