Awakening is the name we have given to that moment of reckoning, when everyone in the room suddenly realizes that they are all the same person, experiencing that reality as one unit, when all at once, 100 questions are answered on the dancefloor.
Our mission is to provide the most comfortable atmosphere possible for people to come and participate in active meditation through dance. This is a holistic healing center, a therapy session, a meeting of the minds, a space ship, an idea generator and the most natural drug you can ingest...all rolled into one. Some of you may never completely understand the purpose...the music alone isn't for everyone, but we believe the positive atmosphere is.
Our goal is to act as a conduit, through which all good things can flow freely.
We strive to create an atmosphere, not a party. Attendance concerns have no place in our planning; we believe that the vibe created is more important than profiting. We do not take responsibility for the success or perceived failure of an event for this reason. Everything happens as it should anyway.
If you should join us, do yourself a favor and let go of everything that binds you. Leave your luggage at the door, we will take care of the rest. The Healing Center is here for your benefit, however you chose to use it. If you need someone to talk to, a shoulder to cry on, a special moment shared, thats what we are here for. In return, we ask only for your input on how we can work more efficiently. Post-event surveys are encouraged, and most helpful is the constructive criticism. If you see something that makes you uncomfortable, tell us.
So what is it that troubles you? What do you need to work out? You can find the answers to those and a thousand other questions within these walls....but then you'll realize that the answer was inside you all along, waiting to be pursued. So really, you can find those answers right where you sit--its just way more fun to involve dancing with your favorite people.
Please join us as we release limiting karma, drama and trauma in an alchemical odyssey of awakening to the inner wisdom within universal patterns of energy flowing as a river through wild ageless spaces. Allow the guidance of nature to enrich your path with more grace, joy, clarity, purpose, power, passion and creativity for manifesting your visions.
Tentative Schedule:
Dinner at six.
Music will begin with chill out beats during dinner and build through out the night. This event will go late; how late is up to you.
If are not going to attend dinner please make a sliding scale donation; no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Total OT: are you active locally at all? I sometimes see your announcements about functions all over the continent, but never anything at home.
Would be cool to know there is something going on in my back yard (I'm in Cleveland). |

With the exception of JCT 604 in May of '09 (which was my crew's event), it's pretty much been over 3 years since I've had a paying gig anywhere in NE Ohio!!!! I play on Case Western's radio station once or twice a year, but that doesn't count either. 
I'm hoping to get some more steady gigs here come next Spring starting with my 30th B-Day bash in CLE on April 15, 2011. Got my girl DRC from San Fran to play and I'll be throwing down some beats too. I more than likely wont' be playing psytrance, but mostly techno, house, progressive choons.

The goal is to have enough of a collective together by next summer to take it outdoors. we are across the street from an amazing park with forest and it would be perfect for day parties and then take it back inside the healing center for the night then back out to the park the next morning.
Tonight Vikas came through for his birthday and played the closing set. We made him a strawberry blueberry chocolate cake. It's really exciting to watch it grow here. |
