The Chapel of Sacred Mirrors and Crystal and Spore presents:
Avatar and the Tribal Market; a full day visionary art market and an all night event that celebrates the spirit of the inspired creative imagination through new forms of art, music, fashion, language and ideas.
In the new world, AVATAR is a mythic incarnation of ourselves, a virtual identity that we can shape and create as a way of nourishing our relationship to ourselves, each other and the world. It is a celebration of the creative spirit of our inspired imaginations. By gathering together we embody the spirit of our culture and the spirit of the future that we are building together.
On Saturday October 22, during regular gallery hours, COSM will host the Tribal Market Place.
Artists involved in the evenings events will sell posters, prints, clothing and music.

CRYSTAL AND SPORE Metamedia Presentation
This interactive metamedia environment utilizes emergent technologies and living systems designed to explore the trajectory of visionary culture. Inspired by evolutionary ecological paradigms and diverse artistic practices, Crystal and Spore offers insights and strategies for the creation of a sustainable reality. Infused with ritual prayerformance, integrated media streams and custom sound design, this presentation will facilitate a journey into the spirit of the imaginal.

Ritual Prayerformance, infused textile exhibit.
Mirroracles are a ritual prayerformance collective, dissolving the boundary between work and play, audience and performer, activism and prayer. Drawing content from new science, pan-global mythology and wisdom traditions, personal experience, and the medicine path. Mirroracles facilitate experiential journeys, offering all present access to their own activation.

The rest of the evening will be an exploration of live and mixed and live downtempo electronic music with dappled media streams. The floor will be cleared and pillows will be left around the perimeter of the chapel to facilitate dancing or chillin. The Tribal Market will also be available for exploring.

Guests are invited to arrive in garb and gear that will best externalize their inner Archetype.
This is a limited capacity event and 250 presale tickets will be available.

highly recommended...
The visual art realm that is being uplifted by these artists is quite amazing...
it exists alongside the audio art realm, and surpasses in complexity and interest much of what we usually encounter in the visual realm at a party or festival...
at shambhala and InVision festivals there was an art gallery featuring most of these artists + andy thomas from australia + many more local artists.
you could be right in the soundfield, yet interact with some incredible paintings and installations...
[beats seeing an image resized into screen res/format]
David Heskin and Roman Villagrana also painted live - alongside the chill stages - interacting with the people and energies around...
Apart from the Liminal Village at Boom several years back, do people in europe/israel/and beyond get to see incredible visual art - original works and paintings - at parties and festivals -
any artists to recommend ? |

what can I say about it..... WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
one of the best events I have being on these 2 1/2 years of NY for SURE!
everything...
the vibrational west coast influence was so perceptible. Visual artists, djs, perfomers...soooo nice!
Such a nice gathering of the psychedelic visionary family.
During the day there was the tribal market, with some very cool artworks for sale, from posters and imagery cards to clothing and jewelry. Always with some good music happening...
At night the panel with all the artists was so inspirative, to know more what the autors meant on their works really opens widely the influence of the images.
Diferent ways of thought and approach to art, always with evolutionary approach.
Crystal and Spore blew me...music/visual/spoken words/performance really taken to another level.
It was great to listen to all the djs Naasko, Noah, CJ....thanks...there was even had an special participation of monkey at the end!
Djing there was such a pleasure also, wonderfull crowd, jumping and grooving with us. Thank you so much for the positive response btw, it really means a lot to us.
Thank you all involved on the development and creation of this gathering.

what an amazing time...
incredible event! all of what pedro said and more!
great to meet and connect with the artists more and to vibe with the music and amazing art information download! so many beautiful people, all smiles, all night long. very inspiring.
so nice that i got to play a couple tunes as a surprise tag with naasko, thanks man! and lots of dancing in my mind, heart and body. yet another installation in the foundation of bliss thats being laid, on which we will build our future.
