i want to put an lfo on a vst but it doesnt have the feature though i can automate manually is ther a way i can put an external lfo of some sorts to keep it automating automatically ?

AFIK there is no VSTi that output LFO data as MIDI.

Just draw a shape with an assigned controller in the sequencer is what I normally would do.

With a scope card it's possible to use a LFO from the modular synth and send it out via MIDI.
And you might be able to somehow hook up a hardware LFO with CV output and convert that to MIDI to control your VSTi, but it's not something I would try at home really

What about Pluggo?

It has an LFO plugin. I haven't tried it yet, but according to the write up I beleive it can do that...           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.
