But... How the hell does the "Edit Events" option in Fruity Loops work??? I'm trying to automate something in FL for some time... and I can't do anything!!!!

Sorry if this thread was already open... But if anyone can explain that shit to me i would be glad...

there r 2 ways to make automation :

1. through the REC button
2. edit event.

solution to :

1. push the rec button and move the volume etc.

which edit u wanted to automate ?

Ok.
Automation through the piano roll function.
say you wanna automate the cut and resonance of a channel.

you go to the channel's settings and right-click the cut or res knobs. choose edit events.
go to the window which has now opened up. you have the option of drawing automations for hours, but you'll need the tune runing along with it (I.E- you need to draw the same piece you want to automate the same number of bars which you drew the automatation).
and there you have it. this is applicable also to volume and any other fruity related instrument and effects. (this does NOT Work on VSTi's and VST Effects which are non-fruity related).
