well i work with nuendo...
now...some of the pluggins i want i can automate...then open the automation window
under the channel (midi) and see the parameter i automated...and adjust it with
the curves...
but some pluggins its impossible...
for example: the waves metaflanger, has a
delay rate button wich says "delay",
now i press W i play with it then press the
R button after im done, and i dont have non
of the parameters of the waves metaflanger,
exept for "bypass" and i dont have any automation
done...why is that?
and basicaly how after i automate a pluggin,
i would be able to see all its parameters
in order to fix there curves?

thanx

You need to use the Waveshell versions. Do you have a separate 'Waves' item in the plugins list? If not you need to install Waveshell, which basically turns them all into VST plugins.

I have all the DirectX versions of the Waves plugins disabled in SX to avoid confusion.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

It's probably got something to do with the Waves plugin being a DirectX plugin and not a VST-plugin. There are ways to automate Waves DirectX plugins that have to do with using the 'Waveshell' application, made by Waves. Check www.waves.com for more info

Cubase and Nuendo don't support DirectX automation, only VST automation. Use the VST Waves plugins.           "a new art came into my mind which only you can create, the Art of Noises, the logical consequence of your marvelous innovations." Russolo, 1913
