Automating Loops

I was messing with Battery and the loop function and I really want to be able to automate the length of the loop, or the tune or anything about it really...but it works like shit...or I don't understand how to use it or something .. I can automate everything else, but automation on the loop function just doesn't seem to work right...along with abunch of other things.
Does anyone know any other samplers/loopers that you can automate that kind of thing? I've messed with Kontakt...but it's suuper complex and way more than I need, at this point.

Hi
I think Dr Rex Loop player in reason and Propellerhead's Recycle lets you automate the loops.

Nothing to do with Battery..
Anyway I'm kinda having the same problem here..I've figured out how to get the length of the loops right and everything but once I trigger it the loop doesn't stop playing.. |
