Hi, the way i am automating albino 3 in cubase SX3 right now is with the write/read buttons, but i know for a fact there is a way of automating via midi, in the pianoroll where you can change your velocity values.. for example you could route these bars (which are coloured blue to red in matter of quantity) to the filter cut-off button and control the values like this in the miditrack itself.. does anyone know how? i think it's something with the 'ECS' button..
somebody showed me but i can't manage to do it myself..
thanx and cheerz |

hm..if you do not own the nocturn or any novation remote..then you have to assign the exact controller in generic remote..via midi learn..or in c4 via quick controls..there is no other way i know..

to do it in the piano roll, you need to know the cc of the parameter and then you can add a controller lane for this cc. check the manual for the cc of cutoff, wild guess 74 but i am not sure.
ecs is a fast way to designate a knob of your midicontroller to a parameter. |

Yeah, this is what i meant actually, tried it and it works, thanx! Nice wild guess by the way, it was 74
I have another question wich has nothing to do with the other one.. When I chop up a wave file in cubase, is it possible to select a part and make it a new file wich i can edit because right now when i chop it up and doubleclick to see the audiofile, it's still the original file as before but then only a piece of it.. i wanna change all my chops into new audio files wich i can edit separately.. hope this question is clear.. greetzz |
