Autmation of eq in sx3

Hi guys. I have a LITTLE problem.How the hell to automate eq on the kick.
I have loaded Battery as VST and loaded my drum samples on it. Now I have midi thet playing thoes samples. Kick is set to ch 1-2 on battery, hat on ch 3-4 etc.
Now on my mixer I have ch Battery 1-2 and there is my kick with EQ inserted, commpresor etc. I want to automate EQ so that I can make nice cut off of low freq on kick before break.
HOW?

what you can also do is bounce the kick to a new audio track and add eq or other fxs on that channel. Than you can create all kinds of funny effects on the kick in a break for example.
For the regular kick you use your previously mentioned midi channel and for the break you can use the new audio channel. |
