nice ..

2 questions for the team

1)i saw in every live set a cameraman shooting
the artist and the crowd

will these quality videos gonna be released sometime?

cause the poor quality videos (especially at the sound part) of the people
dont give us the feeling of being there

2)How many people attend the festival aproximatly? (this one is optional hehehe)

hmm... well strange taste you have there, when you are mixing artists like Protonica, KLopfgeister, Headroom.. and than Pan Papason

he has played the similar music as Dali is playing; such as seek and destroy and similar tracks with guitars.. his live didnt really convinced me there - not even entertain me well..

i am back home, report will come afterwards

Cheers,
P.

i agree my friend.papason's set was one of the worster i ever heard...cheesy ibiza trance...

you mind about my taste of music? That was at that moment.Do we all have to agree all the time with your tastes? For example,i never hear chill or ambient!Isn't good music?I won't comment about your tastes of music! Why are you dancing and get it with chill, ambient e.t.c.?"sto katw katw" i'can hear only electronic music, including all the genre of electronic and i don't BREAK IT(ta spaw!!!)at PEGY ZINA or DESPOINA VANDI and GONIDI!!!!like many of TRANSIENT trancers DO!!!After a good party or festival,"Let's Break IT at PEGY ZINA" ha!!!!I'm sick and bored of you, wich criticise others and demand from the others to have the same tastes of music....and whatever....with you,
cause i had a great time when i wanted to have at Aurora....I don't care if some people who think they are "something".....care about it! i I hope the Aurora group or Someone else(hope ATHENS organization!!!) with good efforts and the "guts" to make a better festival next year, with people less than you(few i hope)!!!AAA!!!I would like to comment that....chill out stage was really really boring and whenever passing from there....i was totally....but t o t a l l y . . . . . very true, but unfortunatly "mister gain" was sometimes playing at mainstage, which from time to time totally screwed the sound

I had a great time... I heard most of the music I wanted to, missed some though... The whole line up was full of quality.

The campsite was great, there was shade, water and electricity everywhere and the sea was very nice, it really helped the experience... Even the fact that the town was near and there were shops at proximity.

Now to the critisism (mostly for improvements sake):

1) More rubbish bins at the dancefloors - I'm surpised people aren't complaining for the rubbish at the dancefloors, with more bins it wouldn't have even been necessary to have the cleaners.....

2)Dust on the dancefloor

3)Shade at the chill-out....

Other than that I felt everything was great...

My 3 highlights music-wise:

1)Simon Baring - The guy is an entertainer and has great mixing skills and great music collection

2) Miraculix for joining the party

3) Hallucinogen - It's the 8th time that I see him live and surprises me every time!!!

C YA NEXT YEAR!

Hello hello,

Really enjoyed the festival..good vibe, good music, good place, good ppl .I have very nice and powerfull memories until next year..

there here some things that can be much better with the next try (all mentioned above)but all in all it was a festival to remember!!

One thing though that i disagree with the most ppl in here..The sound system..although the sound was clear most of the times..i think it wasnt loud enough..i could make a clear conversation with ppl in the middle of the dancefloor. But i guess it was because there where houses and civilazation in general very close..

Anyway thank you for the great memories..cu next year!!!

it seems that almost everything went very good.i have to appologise in public because i had dupted about it,i wrote an email saying what about the police you guys?they told me that everything is going to be ok but i didnt believe them and thats why i didnt come and meny others i think, greek or from other countries.but i had my reasons,i was there in sdf 2003 and i saw the police in action and the greek tvsaying all this sily things witch made me think like i was criminal.anyway aurora crew seems that solved that problem and most of the artist were present and also theu say very good words about the festival in this site.so welldone aurora, hope to cuntinue this way which it is very very dificult in our marvelus country.how many people was there in the festival?any news from the after in samothraki?

Well we had wicked fun! Thanks to Teo, D. and the crew for bringing us, and to everyone who danced to our set. The sound system was excellent, one of the better rigs we've played on, and the engineer was really friendly and efficient and knew his shit... same for the visuals guys - love what they did with our logo

The chillout was great at night, loved Simon Baring's minimal set and Ott afterwards was great too. It was interesting to see Simon P. play with a more minimal setup than I've seen him use before, and it's always good to hear those tunes on a big rig. From a festivalgoer's point of view it was an excellent weekend; facilities on site were awesome and the food was good and much cheaper than at an equivalent UK event. Not only did I not see any police on site but it was one of the most naturally drug-free festivals I've been to, probably due to paranioa from earlier years. But that just meant that we could experience the local alcoholic specialities in all their glory. Man I haven't been so drunk in about 15 years...

Most of the organisation was fine too, especially considering (as I was told) it was one guy doing pretty much the whole thing, and from what he told me any criticisms about the lineup delays are better directed at the sun for frying the amplifiers, and artists who played for much longer than they were booked for! This affected us in that we'd been told we were playing at 9pm after an hour of silence when there would be no music on the main stage, and we therefore planned out our set with that in mind, starting with a few minutes of ambient before taking it up to trance via a psy-breaks track. We eventually played at 11:30 after a vocal prog act, which made us worry that our set wouldn't work so well. It was fine in the end though, and our feeling was that 'resetting the dancefloor' like that kind of prepared people for the transition we made from prog to more full-energy music at night - especially since we ended at 150bpm!

Having one guy doing the whole thing did have its repercussions both before the festival and during it when he was totally unobtainable when shit really needed sorting out; the only thing I'll mention here is that the transport situation for artists was not always good (understatement) - it's not cool to abandon your artists at the hotel when they have to catch their flight home, even if they're staying for a day longer. But nothing was fatal (for us); Teo was straight up with us whenever we spoke to him at the festival and I'm sure that once he's recovered from the immediate aftermath he'll work through the backlog of things still to do as fast as he can. I'm also sure that the lessons learned from this year will make next year even better and we'd certainly be up for it again.
