Had tons of fun in this festival. Amazing organization with little flaws.
Chill-out stage was DREAMY.
I will come again next year, if there's another Aurora.

hey folks,
i just got back home from greece. i heard a lot of bad stuff bout the festival, a lot of critics. i have experienced an amazing festival and probably one of the biggest gatherings that greece has ever seen - so we should watch out what more is gonna come from this project in the upcoming years.
indeed there were a few problems concerning the manegement on stage and the logistics but if u consider that it was their very 1st big festival, it was well done !! sometimes it's not easy having controll of everything ... some things go wrong without having any influence on it. i know teo well and i am sure that all his actions were in good faith.
thanks teo for that f*** great time. you have the right courage and enthusiasm for such a huge projekt and i would be glad being invited next year again.
hugs,
deniz

hey
That was a mind altering experience, all those smily ppl (freaks r us) in one location, united, what more, one, could ask for.
Great performances from artists such as chromosome, tristan, filteria, miraculix, zen mechanics, flip flop, just to name a few
That camping site has lots of potential, with water facilities everywhere, with abudant space and shades, very good efford from such a new crew. Well done! \o/
Now pls forgive the mentality and attitude of some ppl, things in that part of the country isnt very good, unemployment is high, ppl only have their tribe, pride and gf, so if you not one of them eg: whearing the same cloths or dancing like everyone is dancing, then you not part of the tribe and you will be treated not in a friently way (i know, i got eyeballed and wacked a couple of times for enjoying myself in main stage).
So to set things straight i enjoyed very much my time there, met nice ppl and we all dance under the same colours, which in my book is what festivals are for..... connectivity, collective conciousness, universal mind in all, label it as you like, i found it there, and i thank you for that
I would not go into the things i didnt like in the organisation, past posts on this topic covered me.
sry to hear that our foreign friends didnt connected with the festival feeling, but am sure vibes will be warmer at the after party (as its more secret and for sure vibes will be even finest at next Aurora.

I found the orginization in a medium to low level.
If someone thinks
that there was no preparation needed concerning the camping area
(facilities like toilets, kiosks, showers where allready there and not really clean)
Probably you are refering to that phrase of mine.
I still believe it.
I was excited out there I was dancing and having fun and great time, but I hate when people exagerate positively or negatively.
It just wasn't perfect.
They had a place which was ready to accomodate all these people, there wasn't a fest on the Mountains or in the desert, where people are building everything from zero, it was allready there, so I think they could have done a much better job.
It is my opinion, I don't think that the fest was bad, but I mostly think that people had no hard time and was free to party and that was the main reason that nobody complaint about the 20 or more (and not 3) artists who didn't perform, about the dust, about a perfect line up in the Chillout Stage, that we couldn't attend because of the sun.
I am used to live outdoors in the summer, I hated the cars all over the place, that is no contact with nature, that is just an outdoor party with my car parked outside the tent(it was also dangerous having car around and this made the dust problem even worst)
I repeat that I am only saying all these, because I hope that next year it will be much better.
Why is it so bad to tell the truth? They made an effort, it was a good one, but not the perfect one.
I am really sorry that I don't lie and I don't become blind because I had fun.
Don't you agree that they had a ready to use place and they could have organized some things much better?
Don't you want to have a festival in Greece, that it is not ok for a greek festival, but a WOW international festival?
I don't underestimate any of you, I respect every opinion, mine is just a little bit different.
Bye bye
I didn't say that the fest was perfect
but I didn't say about a low level either
I agree with you for the cars in the camping area in particular one day ekra3a enan because he past with speed from our tent but it ends.About the ready area ok yes it not needs a special preparation but don't forget that the orginizer was only 1 person and think about it that with a ready camping area
you have better results for example next year
probably we don't have these small problems for example me I prefere this allready orginized area for tents real toilets and not chemicals so anyway it the first aurora it is good to say your opinion but I say again my opinion is that those problems aren't so tragic for a first festival, so cya again next year :)

The location was a little weird. I mean some people lived right there and stuff. Also cars and scooters all around were a bit of an annoyance. Food was pretty much non-existent. Steep prices for shit food. Booze was mad expensive. 3€ for a beer. Really? Anyways the supermarket was nearby and it wasn't that much of a pain to get alcohol from there
Line-up was great! Too bad the timetable at main was seriously fucked up. But it's all right. I saw most of what I wanted to see (-Pleiadians). Some very nice surprises, but also disappointments..
Chill was lacking in shade at day time and light at night time but the music was too good, so I can't whine about that.
All in all the festival was great! Thanks for all the people and the atmosphere you created. "The dinosaurs became extinct because they didn't have a space program."

Hi people....
i watched many videos in youtube from the festival and read all the comments from all the participants...
Unfortunatelly i didn't come although i live very near from Asprovalta..I drove by at 21th August at early afternoon and saw this amazing dance floor and was really jeallus with all of you freaks..
It was a hard decition not to come but i had some doubts about my energy which was very very low because of the great time which i had in this years BOOM and i was afraid that this blasting experience couldn't be overcomed by the energy of the Aurora's festival so i decided not to come.I 've allready regret it...!!!I knew from the beggining that the Aurora crew would provide a very proffecional organization,i knew very good the location and i am really happy that Teo and his mates managed to overcome all difficulties and give all the participants an experience to remember..
As far as concern comments about dust or cars in the camping area, about artists who didn't perform, about not enough shades or about poor deco and staff like that i will remind you all that we all have to learn from our mistakes..The guys from Psy trance organize for the first time such a big event..Give the people a break, they deserve many many thanks just because they managed to realize such a big project...
The BOOM crew with enormous experience, with 35000 participants and proffecional partners couldn't avoid making mistakes at this years edition and you demand from Teo and the whole crew to be perfect..that is a little bit unfair....
Anyway all in all i think all of you were really lucky to experience a great festival after a long long time in our country and keep in mind that we all trancers have to be really strong united in order to keep our rights to express our life style..Efforts like the AURORA festival MUST be wellcomed and full supported from all of us....
RESPECT to AURORA crew....
RESPECT to all participants..
RESPECT to the greek nature..
Looking forward of the next year's edition....
P.S My friend Hellios be carefull with your comments about the dark psy music cause diversity is really important.Learn to respect other people's choices and express your opinion with a less offending way...
BOOM brothers and sisters.....

okey, belgian freak party review
i must say that i am very pleased with this festival!
it had some downsides like mainstage dust (!!), chillout-shadow, mainstage timetable and festival money tickets??!!
but besides all this i dont think people should complain (looking at some posters here, go party or go home )
for me, most important thing was the chillout lineup - ULTIMAEEEEEEE all artists were great (CBL, aes dana, asura, cell, huva network !!!!, solar fields) as well as many dj's having very nice ambient in their set
the mainstage music, i expected not really to be my kind of music (melody addict speaking ), but surprisingly there was more interesting music then i expected.
Especially !!! FILTERIA !!! destroyed my body and brain! (Maybe next time there is more full-melodic oldskool style music... hope hope ghihi)
the vibe at the festival was very nice, especially in the chillout all was sweet and tasty
thanks for all people i met to give me such a great festival! (malta and israelian oldskool freaks, u know who u are!)
and special thanks to Teo to make this festival happen! For a first time, you did a great job!
respect!

This festival simply kicked ass!
If there had been only the Ambient stage, it would have been perfect anyway. The ultimae crew did wonders and it was hard to find some time to sleep between all the wonderful artists that played. I remember staying there 24 hours in a row one day
As for the main floor, lots of really good progressive, and some magic moments (Chromosome/Andromeda, Filteria, DayDin, Klopfgeister, Solar Fields, OOOD, Bamboo Forest, Vibrasphere, etc...). I thought the lineup was particularly well arranged, with nice transitions between genres.
The people were happy, communicative, not too drugged, I saw no serious incident.
Maybe some here will say the organization was chaotic...Well, my opinion is the music was there, the see and sun were there, the public was there and it was one of my best festivals in the last 10 years!
Some Aurora videos i took, to give you an idea about how nice this Festival was
