Check the first reply on this thread.. that i wrote..
i knew these mother fuckers.. would do the same thing again.. i do not understand .. why people and the artist even go to this kind of event..

The only positive things happened to that rip off festival were the super sound system and the beautiful people who made the dance floor a colourfull playground.
All the rest was a big shame for the trance scene in Greece.
Teo and the rest of the Aurora team should be thrown to the bottom of the sea with a block of cement around their neck....

Well said! Sound system-the island itself (if it wasn't in Samothraki we would have even more people complaining)-the colorful people and of course all the performers and the people that volunteered to make this happen!! The most positive thing for me is that I now want to go to Samothraki more often and enjoy the island with no festival taking place.. The energy is still with me in dull London.
Beautiful sunsets that I will think of in the cold winter days.

We've been robbed aswell, although i had my tent right next to the mainfloor.
I'd be happy if somebody found a keychain with lots of festival braclets on it.. :-S
No Parvati came except Onkel Dunkel.
Apex was the only other Psychedelic Set (Dark some call it).
I'm terribly sorry for the magical island, that really had to suffer from all the greed, dirt and bad vibes...

Such a disappointment to see yet another thread related to a Greek event, becoming a massive wall for complaints, swearing at each other... and some how all becoming personal in the end. I guess that's Greek drama for you.
What most people tend to forget though is the main reason we are all in this forum. It's called MUSIC in case you can't recall. As far as I'm concerned, this music in particular has taken me in foreign lands to enjoy not only the best artists in the scene, but to experience the multicultural beauty these events offer. I have attended other electronic music events in the past, but what the psy trance (or progressive-tech, whatever you want to call it or has become nowadays) scene has, is some sort of magic that cannot be found elsewhere.
We are so bloody privileged to be part of this worldwide family.. and then you have a small group of people such as the team behind Aurora that think they can come and ruin it. Weather they made money out of this fiasco or not.. I couldn't care less.. What they should keep in mind though is that they are missing the whole point.
Yes I was at Aurora and yes I had a brilliant time thanks to all my friends and to the even more beautiful souls that I was lucky to meet and share great moments on the dancefloor. Complaints? Yes, plenty.. but I won't go into detail as I will try and concentrate on the positiveness I took with me when leaving this beautiful island.
Regards all the stories of what happened exactly, who took more money, who didn't etc.. only those involved know. Let them have a good think themselves and see if their actions allow them to even be considered as part of our "family".
A massive thumbs up to all the people who put their efforts in making this happen. And by that I am referring to all the artists, performers, visual artists who either made little or no money at all and ended up volunteering.
Warm hugs to all the happy people out there for the not so far to come winter days.
