Nice choice, D&S. I like acid sounds, techno or trance.
Another great party this weekend is The Beach Party 2004, organized by the Fineplay crew, in small island in Gamagori-shi, Aichi. I don't remember the line-up, but I think I saw Space Buddha and Beat Hackers. One point to note is that to reach this island you must take a ferry from Gamagori Port, a 20 min journey. Or swim to get there, if you arrive at the port after saturday midnight (the last ferry scheduled). LOL.

well, things never go as planned, and at the last minute, we changed our minds and headed towards Trance Cafe's Bom Odori.. Kawaba camping grounds was the spot, nice grassy fields, and good vibes all around.. must say the people who gathered were a peaceful bunch, nice happy vibe. the sound system was veryy niice, bass pounding through the body in a niice sensual way.. had a niice little setup of curry shop and bar under a big tarp deal with tables and all... and the camp's little store sellin out their own brew of beer.. mmm... i definitely recommend that beer for those of you plaanin on the labyrinth party that'll be held at the same location. Well, sort of a party review kinda thing here.... tomorrows solstice for me!!! huge crowd, huge sound system, huge amounts of fun & happiness hopefully!!!
hoope all y'alls summer partying is going well!!! cya on the dancefloor!

hey old skool,
I'd say they had about 500-1000 people.. very very good vibe. and the rain was light.. beautiful colored lights diffused into the night fog. and the sound.. they played techno like stuff most of the night.. then some progressive trancy stuff none faster than 140 bpm.. (i know cuz i asked one of the djs to play something a bit faster, and they declined, sayin 'anything faster than 140 makes your brain overload' or something like that) but ey. imho i like fast hard poundin beats these days, so i was a bit dissatisfied, but the quality was very very good. definitely got me into that dancin while feeling each breath i take in my stomach kind of trancy feel. so big respect to trance cafe & the djs!! thnx for the party! bom

About 700 total, including guests. Very nice crowd!!

"Dance and Smile", if you like "sensual bass", then I have treat for you this weekend:) I promise you the deepest, smoothest, richest, and most sensual bass you've ever heard. We have a massive Funktion-One Resolution (the next generation of turbosound speakers) stack for the Labyrinth this year, in my opinion the best PA speakers in the world. It's like hearing pure sound for the first time.

P.S. If you like the "tech" sound, Arne Schaffhausen (Delta, Midimiliz, Spirallianz, Spiralkinder) is playing techno-trance the main night Saturday night. But please don't ask the dj's to play faster! That's not our style. We go DEEP. And I agree that anything over 140 makes screws people's heads and makes them act like freaks!
