Greetings to all....
this will probably be the last Feel Free event.
Enjoy the dark psychedelic trance from about 12 pm until 6am in the middle of the Mojave desert under a big moon and lots of stars. For the sun, the trance will grow lighter, but will not last long.

This gathering
will be from sunset Aug. 20th to mid afternoon Aug. 21st and the
location is a breath-taking spot. The line up will stay true to form
with some live music, out of town and local talent, and all of it extremely good.
There is a lot of room for camping so please bring anything you want
that feel would make your stay the most enjoyable for you. Even though
our stay won't be long please be ready for the desert as it is an
unpredictable place from time to time. Bring shade if you can.

The location has changed ... I haven't been able to get out to the
Trona Pinnacles to check the roads so here are directions to the new
location:
5n to 14n
RIGHT @ the Auto Zone in Mojave
after you pass Jaw Bone you'll make a SOFT RIGHT onto Randsburg
Reset odometer and go 11mi. and turn LEFT onto a dirt road
Reset and go 4 mi. (follow signs to schmit Tunnel)
you'll come to a fork at the top of a hill go strait.
about 50 to 100 yards down TURN RIGHT and your there.

I have enjoyed Feel Free gathering very much, as I hope you have. I
can't put into words how much I appreciate and am in awe when I look at
the spaces we created out in the desert.

damn, just realized I have to work that night till 2am or so. probly going to miss the san diego madness but at least I'll catch the one and only Johnny. Glad someone brought Psybooty down here. that Boston boy can get asses shakin from coast to coast. Trust Johnny to get the music flow of a party just right. |

patchbay is my studio name, i've wrapped up another new track to test in the desert. Bodhi and I are going to do a tag team set of madness including mostly all original music from the both of us. Plus, some new twisties i bought to scramble our brains.
feelfree's set at the last blue sky was awesome, i can't wait to hear what he's playing next.
rich, i first met dave back in boston over 10 years ago, he was one of my earliest inspirations to start mixing vinyl. i grew up in boston and met dave when i was first introduced to raves. he lived in the same town i did.
If anybody knows david personally, call him DJ Bright. it might rise a laugh out of him. He used to mix goa trance with stuff like hardkiss and cosmic baby. always the psychedelic sounds with the perfect subliminal mixing.
this is going to be really cool. |

David Justin is a spectacular DJ!! His mixing and taste is top notch, and he can bust a cap on the sunrise like the best of the of the Israeli/Ibiza jet set party killers...
Bodhi, sorry i missed your set @ Phoenix, but I heard it was 'da BOMB from one of my most trusted spiritual friends.
This party looks like the GENUINE ARTICLE! Light fuse, get away. Boom! best wishes!

This party sounds like a blast and I could sure use it at this time. I haven't been to a desert party in way too long! And it's a FeelFree party! I always have a blast at Johnny's parties. I'm looking forward to Ozzfest tomorrow, but I'm more stoked for FeelFree's party!! Woohoo! |

Doesn't look like I'll be able to make it this time. I was pretty stoked on going but it looks like my boss isn't going to give me a day off 
Anyway I hope everyone has a great time!
Hopefully there will be other San Diego events sometime soon. |

From San Diego, the Inland Empire, etc. you take 15 to 395 to randsburg road-left, pass garlock road, and make a right about 2 miles past garlock road on a dirt road to head towards schmidt tunnel. go 4 miles to the fork, go straight through, then make a right at the next dirt road 100yds down and proceed to the party.
that should take about 2 1/2-3 hours, maybe more depending on how slow you drive.

This was a very beautiful night. The Moon and stars light up the sky and illuminated the valley below the event location, which was up on a ridge in the El Paso mountains between Red Rock canyon and Jawbone canyon. A warm night and relatively cool morning temperatures made this event really comfortable. The desert air is always so clean and dry.
Props to Feel Free on the location and the music. This event represented the underground California sound- dark, raw, and trippy. Big respect to Prophei and Psytrip- keep on composing, never stop!
So I guess there will be more parties like this, just not called Feel Free anymore....
