ATOMIC FIELDS II
- A Psychedelic Experience -
August 20th - August 21st, 2011

This is going to be a communal and tribal gathering of kindred spirits under the beautiful desert sky! This gathering will be the fruit of the combined efforts of all the organizers, artists, and volunteers!
This gathering will feature many types of psychedelically inspired music including:
PSYCHEDELIC TRANCE
PROGRESSIVE PSYCHEDELIC
TECHNO
PROGRESSIVE
HOUSE
TRANCE
FULL-ON
CHILLOUT
BREAKBEAT
AMBIENT
& MORE!
Travel Log:
This gathering will predominantly feature a transition from deep driving tribal techno, minimal, house, and progressive, gradually upwards through progressive psytrance, to full-on, and psychedelic trance during the peak hours. However, expect a few surprises, and some extra tidbits thrown in for good measure.
Because of the late summer date, and the projected hot summer weather, everybody must make sure that they bring WATER (at least 2 gallons per person), and snacks to stay energized. We want to dance, and have fun. But we all need to be safe while we do this.
We will be encouraging PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY at this gathering. That includes PICKING UP ALL OF YOUR TRASH. This includes cigarette butts (carry an Altoids tin in your pocket for these), as well as human waste. In regards to solid human waste AND all toilet paper, either bury it AT LEAST 6 inches underground or pack it out. The general rule is to leave the environment as beautiful and clean as when we arrived, preferably cleaner! If you see trash, even if it's not your doing, pick it up. You're doing the surrounding plant and animal life a BIG FAVOR!
PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY also extends to how you interact with others at the gathering. Many of us are already great friends. But for those who are new to the gathering, we should make every effort to make them feel welcome! We want our community to grow! We welcome all new faces who bring POSITIVE VIBES!

Entry:
$15 donation before midnight
$20 donation afterwards
$55 donation for cars with 4 or more people!
This will all go towards paying the cost of fuel (for the generator, as well as for the DJ's, and those bringing out equipment), as well as rental costs for our sound system. We are trying to keep prices reasonable so that hopefully this will not exclude ANYBODY. We want to invite as many people out for the fun as possible!
If you will still have an issue covering entrance, you may message us to inquire if we are still in need of any volunteers. Or perhaps you have something to contribute? (such as art? lighting? decor of some kind?) It is our sincere hope that when all donations are totaled, that everybody who made this party possible will be able to go home with AT LEAST their expenses paid. Remember, we are putting this on for the community, and we can only continue to do it with community support!

Nice one! Good luck. Something for those of us not able to get to Burning Man to look forward to in August. I was just lamenting the lack of outdoor psy in socal this summer. I'm always down for a good mix of genres. Hope to make it out!

Please try to avoid bringing strobe style flashing lights and non renewable single use lights (such as disposable glow sticks). While we aren't going to disallow disposable items, we would like to encourage environmentally friendly behavior from all angles at this gathering. There are plenty of reusable battery and solar powered light solutions that will do the trick even better than the disposable kind.
