Hi guys,
I have an audiophile 2496 soundcard. It has 1 pair of RCA red/white output. Now I need to connect my monitors to this as well as my headphones. The audiophile does not have a separate headphone out.
So what is the best way to split the signal so that I can connect both monitors & headphones without loss of quality/loudness in either?
I saw a Y adapter cable http://www.vanns.com/shop/servlet/item/features/751203824
but this splits the signal coming from each out (red/white). Will that work?
thanks much! |

mixer do take quality too , but all proccesing happening inside of Pc so it is doesn't matter , get whatever you like .......... even simple dual RCA switch will help you to make headphones and monitors work from one out but mixer should be more easy to use , you will control volume of both channels seperate and not one channel for both . |

So, i have the same soundcard and a pair of active monitors. Im going to connect the monitors straight to the soundcard. So ill buy a cable with XLR-male and on the other end an RCA(white&red). Right? |
