the only thing you can do is contact the tech support of M-audio or going to the store ,where you purchased it and tell them the problem ,adding all specificated hardware u use ,like motherboard/processor.
it sounds like some of the resourses are conflicting with the procesor ,
well i know for example that RME 96/36 on AMD/Nforce have the same problem as you .and changing the motherboard will solve the problem for RME.(there are very same prob with pieces like Varios from Roland or Turtel beach audio devices ...)anayway i dont want to scare you to death with that ,i hope your problem is not from that kind.
, it could be the driver ,what driver you instaled ?,the newest version or the oldest ? try vice versa and chek it, might help.
from my expirience i know that audiophile 192 runed exelent on my P4ht/Asus p4p800 se,
anyways i strongly recomend to contact the tech support or store where you purchased it .
good luck! |

dude .. if you have anouther soundcard and it is on the motherboard , you need to disable it thrue bios..and i am not doing "sleep mode" i just save restore points and i installing the driver again and again until i will work on a solution..its 2 seconds of driver install and it dont requiars any restart..i mean the last install ofcourse..
so i am working on the problem that i have 2 soundcards that colinding when windows xp is loading so you need to disable it .. and uninstall your soundcard and than reinstall it and it should work..pls try it and tell me if the problem sloved..and it may casue becose of some IRQ problems that the tech support told me..enter this site for some tips : http://www.musicxp.net/
its may have a lot of problems..it may be from your motherboard and in the worth case you need to change it .. but i dont think the motherboard is the problem..it may be caused by service pack 2 .. so try my solution and tell me if it work .. if you want you can contact me :
