Audio to a piano roll - Cubase SX

Hi, does anyone know how do I send an audio file to a piano roll in Cubase SX?
I need to play with "velocity, pitchbend and main volume" of and audio file.

you canīt do that.
if the file is already exported to .wav you canīt open in piano roll (midi). |

Well at least i used to do it on Fruity Loop i hope Cubase also has support for that =) |

Well at least i used to do it on Fruity Loop i hope Cubase also has support for that =)

sorry i misunderstood your question..
yes you can use a sampler for that. u can open samples and distibute them in piano roll with Native Instruments Batery, but batery is mostly for kicks and drums and others percursion, or you can use Halion 2 or Halion 3 for other kind of samples. |

i cant open a percusion loop with NI Kontakt and edit it in piano roll.......
well , i dont tryed halion or fruity to do this...lets check
