audio problem

i TRIED TO RECORD A GUITAR AND DID THE SAME STEPS AS USUAL BUT THIS TIME IT DIDNT WORKED, I OWN A TASCAM SOUNDCARD ON A LAP TOP, I CHECKED OUT THE I/O AND EVERYTHING IS CORRECT BUT THE CHANNEL DOESNT RECEIVE ANY SIGNAL, ONLY THE MASTER .,I WOKRK ON CUBASE SX 2 BY THE WAY. THE SOUNDCARD AND GUITAR CABLES ARE OK , ITS JUST THAT THE CHANNEL NEVER RECEIVES SIGNAL. |

When I have the same problems it is usually a silly problem like I forgot to press the monitor button(the one that looks like a speaker). Also go to vst connections and see if you have any audio inputs enabled. |

check for the input/busses settings in the mixer and make sure nothing is muted- sometimes i'm too stoned and forget those unthinkable small things
btw- please avoid CAPS LOCK it's killing the eyes

I checkek out the conectiona and the monitoring and nothing happens thre signal goes to the "stereo input" only not to the channel i want, i never had this problem i just woke up and did as usual but this time nothing happened but thanks iŽll try |
