Does NE1 know a vst which lets u see a waveform of a kick for example, in real time, besides multiscope.
Multiscope would b nice if it let u sync display 2 a beat or bar, & allowed a length spec, like an oscilloscope.
This would save time on mixdown for visual analysis. |

i dont think anything will give as good results as exporting to audio and looking at the waveform in a audio editor or cubase own editor...
all i can think of is Elemental audios Firium...
but that will probably not give you the same resolution as a audio editor...
i would still export, its not that time consuming!
but i understand what you mean..
there might be such tool out there, or maybe a compressor with such feature..(waveform display)

also Sinus Peak Compressor you can see the waveform and the amount of compression also in the wave form as it will get after compression.

this is an excelent compressor for drums as youŽll now exacply the amount of peak that is being compressed avoiding to overcompress it and make the drums "too much in your face in the mix"
