hello creators!

i would like to share something i found in the trance section a while back, though i cant find the thread,
anyway from that thread there was a link to some cool visuals with music, and i found some real nice ones..

its a very nice trip to listen to the music while you flow in rhythm on visuals..

ill share the ones i found good, and give a link where you can find more...

http://s49.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2J093DIK2OS2510EGCKSGMPWOL
http://www.monostep.org/demo/demo/2005.html

This is something i would love to work with, but it would take some real hard work..
im thinking of gearing up with a friend who makes very nice graphical stuff, though not programming visuals, and thats the first hard part... well, so many things i want to do, i better start working someday soon.. haha

The question of all this, is, have anyone here worked on such projects, if so, would you like to share some insights, and tell more about the programming part

Cheers
Alex

Hey Alex,

This might be the wrong forum to talk about this....
Do you want to do live visuals or just music videos?
It all depends on how serious you want to take it. Basic visual editing tools are essential for things like this, Virtual Dub is great for simple editing and it's free. Otherwise Something like Adobe premiere, after effects or Avid software.
If you want absolute control of creation for visuals and want to take it seriously learning a professional 3D package is a must: 3D Studio Max, Maya or Softimage are the tope packages. VERY time intensive to learn.....but worth it in the end.
For live performance look at Arkaos, Resolume, the new Edirol MD-P1 Motion Dive Tokyo package or invest in the Edirol V4 video mixer.
......good luck.....

I'm still hooked on g-force (www.soundspectum.com)

or you could try vvv... I guess you can find it via google... very nice modular visualisation plugin...

I just love synced visuals at parties... actually I get booked more for visuals than liveacts           soundcloud.com/epsylohm
