Hello, Is it possible to create a kick from scratch using Audacity? Doing in in the same way as Adobe Audition and Sound Forge? |

It generates sine waves.
But I never figured out how to make the pitch envelops!
I'm not sure if it has that feature.
You can generate a plain kick, in this case G kick:
start: 392hz (G4), amp = 0.8
end: 49hz (G1), amp = 0
duration: 500ms or whatever...
It is the equivalent of a descending pitch envelope.
Soundforge is better on this, because you can appy several adjustable envs. to the same sound! |

Where abouts does it give you the option of Start and End? When I go to generate a sine wave. It only gives me the option to generate one tone. Doesn't mention Start-End option. |

I still fail to generate anything close to a decent kick with this.
Any other ideas ?

Neo: "What truth?"
Spoon Boy: "There is no spoon." |
