After months of experimenting, concocting and much fine tuning, Atyss is finally ready to unleash his latest collection of varied stompers, stormers and brain bubblers: Split Mind!
Having over 2 decades of psychedelia under his belt, this full length LP is a mixture of new tracks and collaborations with a host of kindred psychedelic minds (Yurika, Outer Signal, N-Kore and Voyager).
With deep builds and shifts, blending and production of evocative melodic structures, Atyss perfectly balances between light and dark as can be expected from this twilight/morning master.
Metallic riffs, pads and echoes phasing in and out of sync, the focus on dreamlike haunting ornaments always heightening the tension, 'Split Mind' is a guaranteed journey into our melting id, ego and superego fragmenting as we listen, as in lost in cosmic radio interference...
So kick up some dust, fasten your seat belt, and get ready for a wild ride, and just let that brain sizzle until well done...
