OK, here is my first completed song. I made this in FL studio 8. I'm fairly happy with how it sounds but for whatever reason it doesn't seem as good or professional as the psytrance albums I have.
Do you have any tips or suggestions for me? Thanks.

hello jacob, how long have you been in touch with fl ? i heard your song and you will eventually make good music, after some time has elapsed and you have the experience to do so, so please, continue your quest discovering the psytrance production scene

Thanks for the quick reply. I've had FL for a month or so, so I haven't really discovered everthing it can do. I've been reading up on techniques and looking at tutorials though, and I've got a few extra VST's and plugins like Dbglitch, Camel Crusher, V-station, and Prodigious Synth. |

one thing you should be looking into is the edit events option, right click on any fl knob and it should appear
assuming you know at least some basics, oh and i use fl too

Yeah, I used the edit events for the synth to modulate filter cutoff.
Anyone else have suggestions? |
