Such a crazy crazy intense beautiful weekend. I twas our first time using this venue and a good 5 hours from where we normally have our events. We really didn't know what was going to happen going into this but had a good feeling about this beautiful venue with wonderful land owners who we connected with. Our intention with this gathering was to tighten up on our since of community. Our theme being The Never Ending Story and fighting The Nothing.
We sure did fight The Nothing. At certain times I thought it was going to win and take us over but this community would just come back even stronger.Just a big THANK YOU to everyone who came together to make sure this event went on. Thank you to everyone who was draining digging ditches, hanging up tarps ,keeping an eye on equipment, raising equipment up higher even though it got flooded anyways, getting some deco back up even though the rain tore it all up,to the 30-40 peole that were dancing in the POURING down rain (uncovered) during Cinder's set, to the crazy freaks who drove out to BFE knowing that there was flash flooding, and so on and so on and so on. It was one thing after another with this storm.
I didn't get to enjoy myself as much as I would have liked to because of no sleep, tons of working, and ALWAYS having something to do but I could feel the vibe and see the community bonding and being there for one another. This was true family coming together and it was beautiful.
I went down to the stage Saturday night at 7pm when Dawn was playing some psydub and ended up staying down there until 1am when it was totally flooded and we had to turn it off. The night was progressing really nicely and the dance floor was full underneath the tarp and some people even dancing in the rain. My favorite sets were Cinder,Vampyromorpha, nd dub till Dawn. Wish I could have heard many more artist but some couldn't play and I was at the gate for a many hours. We didn't get to hear uhm, psycokid,Klapton, and a couple more due to having to turn the music off for a bit...
So challenging but VERY rewarding!! You guys rawk and YAY to dancing in the rain. it brought out something in us all that i haven't seen in a very long time.
Peace.

I feel like an idiot for totally going brain dead and not thanking David and Casey. It was truly a pleasure to get to spend three days with you all. Your help setting up was greatly appreciated, and you were both incredibly cool with everything that happened. I look forward to our paths crossing again in the future.
Thanks goes out to Kelly, Pyite, for allowing us to borrow some of your tapestries

I'm reeeeaallly late to reply to this post, but oh well!
Thanks Jessica, Shawn and Nicole! You guys def made the party worth it! Great receptivity with us 'new people'!
My friend and I really had a good time, despite the rain.
I didn't know exactly what to expect from the party, but was def a good surprise, specially the music! I recently moved from Brazil, where the scene is HUGE and all I knew was that I had to find something around here! And I did!
Thanks again and I hope to see you guys at the next one!
