I agree Frometrius.
They're one of fav. top producers on Parvati, together with some of scandinavian projects.
Yes they have shaped the infamous darkpsy with their ideas and musical/producing skills.
Their leads/effects are special, something you haven't heard before. Their dark atmosphere that follows usually the whole track it just gets you somewhere outta here. Percs usually just great, carefully put, yet they're unique and not overused.
I think it is very hard to synthesize something like this, I mean all these odd sounds to arrange them in such a harmonic way! But they do.
I don't find the bassline grooveless at all, in contrary I find it usually very deep, hypnotising and absolutely fitting the other elements.
P.S. Encephalopaticys is similar just a little more rushed I guess.

Fair enough if people find the 'psycore' stuff too fast, but I find atriohm waaaay too slow. For me the ideal bpm for dancing is 170-180, and nothing beats sawing leads and walls of glitch

I'd like to see what your idea of "dancing" is, and I'd also like to see you do it for 12 hours without taking a break.

i'm not so much into darkpsy but thist style touches me a lot.i'm o.k whith that tempo(147-152)cause it fits the style...it's deep and trippy and finally doesn't look so fast!finally those who invented it and after some years of evolution and experimenting on dancefloors have a much more stable base than opinions on forums...from the moment it exists and finds so much support for sure means something...anyway it's always kind of taste but for those who critisize it they should be more openminded cause if they taste it they re gonna get lost beaudifuly!for their own good!

i agree with what was mentioned before..
there is nothing dark or trying to be spooky just layers and layers of complex ,beautiful night atmospheres ..
to get a true idea of their music i think you have to go back and listen to paranormal amplifier ...God !!!its just so smooth and brilliantly wicked vibe...it just so beautifully kind of enhances or amplifies the feel of the night with respect toeverything in nature ..and that in my opinion should be true night music !!!epic !!!

WRONG! Have you heard Abrahadabra? They explore the low 140es in several tracks, bringing influences from oldschool warm goasounds, plenty of psychedelic forest crisp and funkyness. Heard them play live last week, and they have truly reinvented psychedelic trance and gone away from the faster-pussycat-faster-kill-kill-psytrance that has dominated for some time now.
