This is the final and confirmed details of the festival. To make an end to all rumours: YES, the festival will definitly happen!!!
The festival will take place 30.07 at 2pm till 01.08 at 6pm for 2 nights (not 3 nights)

ADDITIONAL INFO:
We have decided to hold the Atmosphere festival at a new location do to non-agreeable conditions with the government in Bern for the old party site. We have found a more tolerant & open-minded spot in the central part of Switzerland and are happy to announce that the Atmosphere will definitly happen.
The duration of the festival has been shortended from 3 nights to only 2 nights, beginning on saturday 30.07 at 2pm and ending on monday 01.08.05 at 6pm. The new prices for the tickets for 2 nights are set at 65chf / 45 euro. We will reimburse the money of the cancelled night to all those who have bought a presale ticket. In this case, pls present your ticket at the cashier to receive your money back. For those who arrive already on friday the 29.07, we will provide a chill-out area with ongoing music as well as an open-air cinema.
We offer you a rotating shuttle bus service during the whole duration of the festival. The shuttle will leave from the parking area, which is located only 15min drive from the party site. There is a camping area at the party site and campers can park directly close nearby. Pls bring a small tent and sleeping pads with you, this is important. We offer you the possibility to swim in the lake. The shuttle bus will drive to the beach during these 2 days from 10am till 8pm at every full hour.
On 01.08. Switzerland is celebrating its national day and we are proud to present amazing fireworks to honor this day.
Pls do not bring dogs with you into the festival area.

then how "campers can park directly close nearby"?
Or is it the beach that's 15 min drive from the party site?

i'm not the organizer, but i'm answering on his behalf
we strongly advise party people to leave their cars at the parking (more info on this very soon). the reason: the festival is held on top of a mountain on 1100m over sea level. there is very limited space up there for cars. the parking is situated 15 min from the party site.
the beach is approx. 20 min away from the festival site. to make it clear, the beach IS NOT the parking area.
i made a small translation mistake in the "additional informations". i mentioned that "campers" can park directly at site. well, i meant to write that there is parking space available for "camping buses or mobile homes" ONLY. pls try to respect this and use the shuttle bus if possible.
concerning the web site: we're in the process of updating everything. it will be done in the next couple of days.

i just arrive back to greece!!!
the festival was great!!!
very nice ppl been there!!
alot of travelers i met there
ppl from germany,italy,japan.swiss,france,greece and other countries make a very good vibe !!!
the new location was great..
what a great nature!!!
i found a mountain where at all the length was going down the water like waterfalls..
the organization was allmast excellent..
skazi,sub 6,astrix and psycraft were the best live acts in to the fest for my taste and for most of the ppl in to the fest(they was dancing like crazy)
