And what where you expecting from him to play??

If you were expecting hard stuff from him,then you have no idea!!Atmos has been so many times in Greece,and his style as a dj-especially the last 2-3 years-is very close to progressive Trance and progressive house...That means music with vocals sometimes....
So if you knew this,you simply shouldn't go at the party if you don't like this kind of music.
Trance Music is one and only,though it's separated to many sub categories,that in many cases are very close to the limits of other music styles as Techno or House...
Thomas is one of the most SERIOUS producers of Trance music-you like it or not -and he has bring a fresh air of evolution to the fed up psychedelic trance scene since he got involved with it back in 1999-2000 if i'm not wrong...."Tortured brains" will need a lot of time to realise this....
If they ever......
Go to a record store,buy his new album,listen to the track Ordinary Weekend kai ta leme....

P.s. The term "Psychedelic" in music,doesn't mean madness,darckness,paranoia,or heavy metal.....
The term psychedelic have been used back in the 70's to describe the wave of rock music which was related to the use of lsd....
Pure psychedelic is the Rock music that Pink Floyd,Led Zeppelin,Jimmy Hendrix and many other MUSICIANS from that generation made...
Psychedelic is Ozric Tendacles,Psychedelic in trance maybe were some releases from the first 2-3 years of the scene...after that only chaos..
Psychedelic is the track from Atmos i mentioned above....

First of all...
Kissmybass did you visit the party?
Looks like you don't.
Second, i don't need explanation about the trance music and psychedelic term i know a lot about it.
Third, my post was deleted twice :-( (i still don't know why, because it was only my point of view of Atmos gig from wich I expect too much)
I have seen/listen Atmos maybe 10 time in my life and i am (was) his big fan. I know what he sounds like before and this what i hear was... tragedy. I have all the tracks he made, I have new album but he played haus at the party (not progressive trance). As his big fan, i think that i am the one who must judge him, because he turn left.

I was NOT expectin' hard stuff from him, just a serious mix and he played music for MTV. Also, I am listening progressive a lot, and I really know what to expect and also what I get. So please don't teach me, but ask someone that visit the party how it was. 
There was not even "P" from psychedelic in his set, that is the truth.
