Whilst I am a big Cydonia fan, you should listen to his newest album, "Where Words Fail Music Speaks".
Its not exactly tsiftetelia, but the Spice Girls do spring to mind when listening to the vocal mix of "Where Words Fail The Music Speaks".
If Fivos hears it, Vandh will be singing the greek version in time for the next summer.

I have listened to it and its well yeah at its best mediocre but i stay at the old cool tunes written by Cydonia,Tortured Brain etc....Nice trippy,dark,subliminal aaaaaahh.But yeah many artists switch to the commercial money is a big temptation after all.But even he bit the dust like you said you cant cancel his omfg ownage past and call him tsiftetelia its a blasphemy (not you the dude i replied to).Cheers I Hate Hippies

The latest album by Dino Psaras is mostly compiled by old tunes (some of them like Perfume i first heard them something like 3 years ago) so it isnt wise to judge him just from this album but wait a little bit more for his bright new album that is ready and will be released soon along with the Krome Angelz album with Shanti and Dado.
For me Dino is one of the most respected and talented artists in the scene and soon he will prove himself once again (although he really doesnt have to) when the new stuff hits the market.
I mean for gods sake we are talking about Dino Psaras here not Skazi or any newbie israeli act.

Well first of all I don't like Psaras nowdays but sure has nothing to do with tsiftetelia and he has great and respected past.Atomic Records left its stigma to all of us I think..Unforgetable music!However the Krome Angels project kicking asess!Realy nice music!And I am wandering about new Dino stuff that Detox says.Who knows?Maybe he changed!Even GMS changed their music into something that you can't imagine them doing this..full on fans or better generally trance fans as I know GMS are preparing a techno album at the moment as they have a great collaboration with Transwave on the road,dirty techno shit I like mostly other music styles today like minimal techno/tech house but I would prefer the Athens scene.Maybe it's more traditional trance than thessaloniki but from the other side I realy get bored from thessaloniki scene seeing all those years the same artists coming to play.espesually thessaloniki became the second home of acts like day din or neelix or symphonix who are not something special at all...There are so many artists and djs around!big exception of course is the party with flip flop and burn in noise!

Anyhow, this whole Athens trance scene VS Salonika trance scene and generally Athens VS Salonika is a load of bollocks. It was happening 8 years ago, when I left Greece and its sad that its still happening today. Thankfully not everyone sustains this moronic attitude, but I hope for it to cease to exist altogether.
Personally I am happy there are great parties once again, in Athens as well as Salonica.

Tasos indeed Krome Angelz stuff is really killer and i also cant wait for it,also from what i have seen in some videos the live is also something special.By the way the collaboration of GMS and Transwave you speak about which is a very nice and different track (nothing to do with full on or even generic psytrance since its more downtempo) will probably be included in the next Transwave album that is actually just being compiled.
In any case i dont think that any of us can really judge Dino in such a way calling him tsiftetelia trance or whatever and to be honest i dont much care about this Athens vs Thesaloniki comparison since i live in Athens and i care mostly about the local scene and the only thing i am happy for is that a lot of events are taking place in Thesaloniki plus a lot of other places like Crete for example.If the Thesaloniki promoters manage to find a formula and divide the dates so that one party will take place every weekend then it would be better for them and the people too but thats just my personal opinion.
P.S Toti its Brighton warehouses actually and i wouldnt make fun of them if i was you because thats where half the trance/psy trance,house (acid house back then) and techno scene started in UK more than 20 years ago.
