No that the 2 cities have anything to split, but with the reason that i am in athens now, and i dont see any party coming up untill the 11th of September, i think that Thessaloniki even with less population (1/3 of athens - maybe less) have more events from athens.. Or is it just my point of view? Anything in Athens this weekend friends? |

1)Athens scene has been chased a lot by the police and people have even been to jail for organising events.In Thesaloniki things are not so strict for sure and this helps in the evolution of the scene there.
2)When Athens before 2 years had three psy events every weekend (and i am talking about very big events) Thesaloniki had just one party every Saturday.Things change from time to time.
Thats my two cents.

Well, you are both wellcome..
I mean that things always change, detox, and Goa Gill this weekend and Raja plus the big 4 event of 11 sept is excellent choices.. The Olympic Capital just saved her pride..

we think that it's very good for such a small country,to host SO MANY events at not only the 2 major citys (Athens,thessaloniki)
This year at least at the north part of our country,we had parties at Kavala,Edessa,ptolemaida,aridea.
We also see that partys are taking place at corfu,kriti,giannena,peloponissos and even more...
We also want to notice that once more (especially in thesaloniki) unfortunately,too much unreasonable tention taking place,and this will lead mathematicaly,to a very negative result for the scene.
Detox is right about that the police was chasing Athens promoters the last years,but maybe this was something that had to do with reasons that nobody will ever know...
We have to remind that at least 3 thesaloniki's promoters got themselves in jail also 1997-1999.
Finaly we want to call every one in this country to realise that the ONE and ONLY reason for this situation,is the drug problem
and the drug dealers.
We will make a statement about this,in our party topic,a few days before our event.
Stay tuned,and note that this year we will declare an open war ,with all of our strength,against drugs,by all means
All together we can reach the best possible outcome.JUST BELIEVE IT
GOOD SEASON TO ALL GREEK PROMOTERS.
