like minimal, prg, fullon... or silence 
for me i wud like somep prgsv
but most of the times silent coz my boss always takes my headfones

my cd case today at work (roughly from morning till evening):
grey area - penumbra
karma de la luna - a master plan for the addict
shpongle - tales of the inexpressible
cosma - non stop ("we are here for one reason, and one reason only... WORK!")
muses rapt - spiritual healing
mystica - age of innocence
audialize - wanted
no headphones, i play it on the background at a level that still allows me to answer phones

when im doing something menial that requires no thought i like full on-- astrix, talamasca, or hallucinogen.
but when i need to think deeply about something philosophical theres nothing better than shpongle or shulman. any ambient or chill out soundscape. allows you room to think but gives you that inspirational rhythm. you can add the notes yourself in your head. Its like a celebration of empty space. also non trance would be bach or miles davis

most times I work on silence, or chill out, if I listen to full-on I'll just get distracted thinking about parties!lol
