I've always wanted to know whats being said, it sound like its some middle asia tongue, but I don't know for sure. I know Vince lurks here, and this forum has a great international crowd. Does anyone recognize the language, and if so what is being said?
the sample is from a classical Turkish song.
Poem is by Yahya Kemal Beyatli and the composer is Munir Nurettin Selcuk.
''Donulmez aksamin ufkundayim, vakit cok gec
Bu fasildir ey gonlum, nasil gecersen gec
Cihana bir daha gelmek hayal edilse bile
Avunmak istemeyiz, boyle bir teselli ile
Genis kanatlari boslukta simsiyah acilan
Ve arkasinda gunes dogmayan buyuk kapidan
Gecince baslayacak, bitmeyen sukutlu gece
Gruba karsi bu son bahcede keyfince
Ya ask icinde harab ol ye sevk icinde gonul
Ya lale acmalidir gogsumuzde yahut gul''
sample is the first line of the song.
and it means;
''we are at the horizon of unreturnable night, time is too late''
So everything is said, thank you Lucidpicnic for translation. To iTranscendence, Vince is no longer member of Asura since Code Eternity (it means since 2001) and "Lost Eden" first edition was released in 2003. I say that because many people yet in 2009 seem to confuse Aes Dana and Asura, two different projects with two different persons. Aes Dana is Vincent Villuis and Asura is Charles Farewell, as far as I am concerned

My favorite song off that album. Thanks for posting this. I'd always wondered the same myself. Searched with the clues given here and found the full translation.
we are at the horizon of unreturnable night, time is too late
hey my lifetime, this is the last part, pass however u do
even if to come in the world again
we dont want to be distracted with this consolation
ohh the quite night will start after we pass the door which
its wing spreads blackly in the vacancy
and the sun doesnt rises after this door
beside the set in these gardens with ur pleasant
ruin in ur desires or be a heart in love
or thimbleweed must bring up or rose
ooohh we ar at the horizon of unreturnable night, time is too late

Hey! I didn't realize you were lurking here too! I Did know that Vincent left, but for some reason I thought it had been much later at least post Lost Eden hence why I dropped his name. That impresses me that much more about the growth of your style as an artist.
If I had known you were here I would have just said "I KNOW Charles in charge is lurking here somewhere." ;-)
To the other amazing community members who found the information and the translation, you are the reason I already love this forum.

I added this information to the songs page on last.fm so the general web population can find it easier.
