AstroPilot aka Dmitriy Redko returns with a new beatless space-ambient opus composed in the beautiful and natural 432Hz frequency.
Following up the magnificent Solar Walk ambient series, he grants us with a volume 3 entitled 'Event Horizon'.
Lush, majestic, ambient soundscapes that hang suspended in space, often backed by melodic flourishes, an emotive ambient symphonic shifting tapestry.
Shimmering, sparkling, intertwining, cosmical space music.A serene journey away from Earth and into the depths of space.
If you have a tendency towards escapism, or just a vivid imagination, this is the perfect music to get lost in.
Tune in and wave planet Earth good-bye!

"Massive" is indeed quite a proper way to describe the album, and Dmitriy's more ambient works in general - celestial symphonies with an aura of grandeur that call to mind all things eternal and boundless: indeed, the immensity of space, which is perhaps the first such theme one is prone to think about, and thus lends itself well to naming and pinpointing the character of the music as "space" ambient; but as the other obvious branch we have the immensity of time, temporal eternity, and on the individual level the massiveness of even a single human life, though against a backdrop first of institutions and civilizations that remain generation after generation, immensely old and noble, and finally of the unbelievably ancient, ever-changing yet constant, universe.
These are not the only themes, though, by no means. There is a lot of life here as well, in many tracks the focus seems to be more and more on the individual, and though Nature is often at something of a distance from the ambiance of the tracks, there is still an emphasis on the living energies themselves that are at work in Nature; not the flora and fauna, not the earth or the sky, but the ebb and flow of life in these things, and the order from which they spawn time and time again.
Dmitriy's gestures are grandiose, and they warrant grandiose description. The description from Altar Records mentions escapism, and in a way Dmitriy's works could be considered well-suited for some forms of escapism; but I would rather not use this epithet, and speak instead of grasping, partially and only temporarily, but still grasping, a splinter of perspective on the mystical, the divine, and the eternal. Escapism not onto fantasy, but onto particular truths well worthy of reminder in a world of many layers and vistas.
