hi I have been making trance music for a long time but I have been really surprised to hear the brilliant production of the new astrix album the bass and kick sound so PHAAAAT,does anyone know how he achieves this fatness. What does he use for bass and production and mastering techniques ???

afaik he used the nord lead for the bass in his new album. his vb1 times are over.
so why his bass sounds so good? he has better experience than you and better equipment.
how do you get to that phatness? keep making crap until you get there. no other solution. with each new bassline you make you will learn more. there are no specific techniques to making the perfect bassline.
anyway - please use the search for bassline threads. we have too many of those, no need for another one.
