Not trying to be a prick or anything, but this video was really boring?
He's just sitting there next to his computer and theres annoying/cheesy noise coming out of it. occasionally he will gyrate his leg, or reach over and tweak a knob
You can barely see anything that is happening on screen...
I mean, I guess if you like his music its ok but from being interesting or useful to someone from a production standpoint....no
If you want to make an apple pie from scratch...you must first invent the universe

I didn't regarded this video as any kind of a tutorial.I also never liked even one track of Astrix tbvh. This was the first time I accept it in my mind that he has sth to do with psytrance for me.
I just like studios ,he got a nice home studio- and it sounds great, and it was just a nice watch. That's it for me.

And the sound quality is still a multiple times better than the avarage most other home studio experts ..and I agree the equipment is very 'unproffesional' - good home studio maybe.
No mackie console or such but still it works for him.

Allright now who's the dude that put the spycam facing in the wrong direction? Seriously now, i thought we agreed it should be facing the couch/bed at the back where's he's shagging the groupies and shit.
Peace, Love, Death metal
The thing I got out of this ( I love astrix by the way, eye to eye anyway...) is that he's sitting there listening to solo tracks. I realize I needed to do that more often in my production. I make a track with all kinds of tracks in it, but don't single each track out and work on it individually enough after I've made it.

Isn't that the Moog Voyager rack?
*drool* The set up is fine, the room sounds well treated, I'd much rather mix my tunes there, than my reflection ridden/bass waffle of a room.
P.S. I had both a 24 channel Soundcraft Spirit Studio 8 Buss
and later on the 32 channel Mackie 8 buss (sorry the Courvoisiser is in the middle )
Both sounded far from great. Defo not pro material, although MJ had one in his house for writting stuff...so that kinda makes it cool.
