i guess they all have bitten by the commercial bug.
so,they have changed their music or shud i say evolved to b more club friendly and paying more attention to the quality of the sound rather than the psy in it.they have filtered their bass so much that it has become a mid-range!!!! |

Son Kite's new album will be released around September.
And there's also a Minilogue DVD about to come out.
Let's wait then!! |

According to Brazilian sources, Minilogue's "Animal" in April, and Son Kite's in September, among with a Minilogue DVD.
And there's also a colaboration with the Australian project Decoy!
Hope that this source is right, so we don't have to wait another hole year.
Edit: Btw, the source, is an interview made with the Marcus and Seb, for the Brazilian site RRAURL. |

I agree. Also, it's definitely the case with IM, I think. |

they have families to sustain and mortages to pay

| That's about the only reason I would understand for these artists to do what they've done. |

For me...
all of them are great and big artists...
all of them make a music of full quality... with many psychedelic melodies...
but they are not doing music like was a long time ago.... they are doing music today for win money, not with their spirit...
they make music for pop people... not with their own spirit...!
They don't release a track... or a album, cause they are very busy playing around the world, to win money... to make their names in the midia....
I still like their sounds... but much less as I like a long time ago...

I am happy to see Homer Simpson listens to trance.
Interesting that about spirit, I agree. Its hard not to compromise when you need to make a living, the true inspiration cannot come from the material gain...

Astrix is too much young...
and for me, he is not able to keep psychedelic, because he loves COMERCIAL life.
Try to give a chance to real experienced producers like: JUNO REAKTOR (not trance but trancy indeed), PROMETHEUS, TRISTAN, KOX BOX, AMD, BIG WIGS, KINO OKO, ARTIFAKT, PSYSEX (GOBLIN), ZEN MECHANICS, DEEDRAH, X-DREAM, and some more...

Astrix is too commericial for you, but you're fine with Juno *Reactor? It's either good music or it isn't. Everybody needs to pay the bills. You're saying you'd rather have a job and produce only in your spare time than be able to live comfortably getting paid to party?
If you have a problem with commercialism in music, take it out on the actual major labels and the untalented artists making millions off of the least common denominator. Astrix is just a guy.
  You believe in the users?
Yeah, sure. If I don't have a user, then who wrote me? |

Astrix's new album is supposed to be out around Christmas this year. But more importantly, Astral Projection's "Open Society" should finally see the light of day in January/February. |
